A fugitive wanted on a Mississippi murder charge, whose last known address was in unincorporated Downers Grove Township near Hinsdale, was arrested Thursday on Chicago’s North Side.
Rommel Amos, 25, who was wanted for murder in Tchula, Miss., is in the Cook County Jail awaiting an extradition hearing.
He was arrested by a team of officers from the DuPage County sheriff’s office and the FBI’s Fugitive Task Force who had been working together to locate him .
