John Hugh Burns, 90, of Atlantis, FL and Irvine, CA, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away from complications of cancer on Oct. 18, 2001. Mr. Burns, formerly an executive with E.I. du Pont in Chicago, McDonnell Douglas Aircraft in Long Beach, CA, and most recently with the County of Palm Beach, FL, among others, is survived by his wife of 66 years Marguerite; children Marguerite Diane, Hugh Kevin and Robert Neil Burns; grandchildren Ryan Neil and Korinne Elise Burns; and by his sisters Dorothy Leona Burns, Huberta Zoe Chauvet and Frances Claire Schmitz.
