William W. Johnson, age 69, in Harpswell, Maine, Dec. 17, 2001. Born in Evanston, IL, graduated from Oak Park High School and Cornell University with a BME in Mechanical Engineering. A member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Lived in Northbrook until 1997. A member of the Chicago Curling Club. Husband of Wench “Vank” Johnson; father of Lins Upton; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2002 at the Elijah Kellogg Church, Harpswell Center, Maine. Memorial contributions may be made to Orr’s & Bailey Island Rescue, P.O.
