J.H. Lee will become president and chief executive of Kia Motors America Jan. 2. He will replace B.M. Ahn, who is being reassigned for undisclosed duty within Hyundai Automotive Group, Kia’s parent. Lee had been president of Kia Motors Canada. Kia also named executive vice president Peter Butterfield to the additional role of chief operating officer.
