John J. “Jack” Russell, age 77, of Sarasota, FL, passed away Dec. 29, 2001, WW II 82nd Airborne, loving husband of Carole J. Russell, nee Seekamp; beloved father of Virginia G. Berg and Jean M. Meyer; brother of Jerry Russell, Betty McGregor and Patsy Russell; cherished grandfather of one. Mr. Russell was a self-employed contractor for over 35 years and retired in 1991. He was a member of the Meadows Country Club, Sarasota and life member of the Elks. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Private memorial.
