Shame on the jurors–and especially the women–who found Marilyn Lemak guilty.
It doesn’t take hours of testimony to know that any woman who kills her children is mentally ill, if not legally insane.
I had hoped that the events of Sept. 11 had taught us some compassion.
But apparently not.
This heartbreaking verdict makes an unspeakably tragic story even worse.
