As one who lived through that period, the fact is that Bernardine Dohrn committed repeated acts of public terrorism and was publicly proud of them. Her continued and obvious present-day lack of remorse and contrition for the serious damage she did says to me that she still is a terrorist and should be treated as such.
The fact that Northwestern University’s School of Law would hire and continue to defend her says a lot about the school, none of it good. But then again, Bernardine Dohrn is a typical member of the so-called Boomer generation, the most self-centered, self-absorbed, self-righteous generation with which this country has ever had to suffer. Thank God they are growing old and will soon be gone!
