There are not too many things that are guaranteed in sports. The following is: Bill Cartwright is the media’s choice to coach the Bulls. If he fails, Jerry Krause will get the blame. If he succeeds, the media will take credit for badgering Krause into the selection, in turn not giving Krause credit. Their hatred of Krause excludes them from making objective comments.
They, however, have no one to answer to. Sportswriters, the never-weres of our society, blame Krause for the destruction of the Bulls and give him no credit for six championships. They say the Bulls did it in spite of Krause. What total and complete hypocrisy.
I just cannot understand how these blowhards keep their jobs.
