Barbara A. Brethen, former Chicago and Glenview resident, 79, of 428 Creekside Dr., Asheville, NC 28804, passed away Jan. 14, 2002. Mrs. Brethen is survived by her husband,C. Arthur Brethen; and daughters, Linda (Bruce) Webb and Bonnie Fenton. A funeral will be held at L.C. Frederichs in St. Clair, MI, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19.
