The Lake County Division of Transportation will close the Dilleys Road bridge over Mill Creek near Wadsworth for six months on Jan. 28.
The road will be closed to replace the bridge with a concrete structure.
Because of limited right of way, environmental concerns and grade-differential problems, Lake County cannot construct a temporary runaround for the 47-year-old bridge, said John Sauter, principal engineer of the Division of Transportation. .
Sauter said local traffic will be allowed north from Stearns School Road to the closed bridge site, and south from Wadsworth Road to the bridge. Through traffic will be detoured using Wadsworth, Hunt Club and Stearns School Roads.
