Goalie Norm Maracle made 32 saves and Dan Snyder and Steve Maltais each had two goals as the Wolves shut out the Barons 5-0 in Cleveland on Friday night.

Snyder opened the scoring just six seconds into the contest.

Jarrod Skalde made it 2-0 during a five-on-three power play at 2:58 of the second period.

Maltais banked home his 14th goal of the season to put the Wolves ahead 3-0 at 4:52 of the second period.

Snyder’s second goal made it 4-0 at 13:46 of the second period.

Maltais registered his second goal of the night to ice the game when he fired a shot from the point that deflected off a defenseman’s stick and into the net at 2:23 of the third period.

Maracle got his second shutout of the season as he remained unbeaten in his last three starts (1-0-2-0).

It was the ninth time this season that the Wolves have scored five goals.
