Films scheduled to be screened in February as part of the latest Block Cinema series include the 1970s neo-noir detective movies “Bullitt” (Friday), “Klute” (Saturday; see Screen Gems column) and “The Driver” (Feb. 28). Screenings featuring films by gay directors include Ming-ling’s “Frantz Fanon: Black Skin, White Mask” (10 p.m. Feb. 8) and “The River” (Feb. 15). Martial arts films include “A Chinese Ghost Story II” (Feb. 9) and “Swordsman II” (Feb. 16) — both by Ching Siu-tung.
