Blanche Mendelsohn, widow of Jack Mendelsohn Sr.; loving mother of Jack of Washington, D.C.; dear grandmother of Sarah Goralski and Catherine; sister of Morris Carr, Joseph Colin (d) and Lauretta Saffro (d) of California; died at home on January 24, 2002. A long time resident of Chicago’s north side. She was a graduate of the University of Southern California, a retired dealer of 19th Century Decorative Arts and enthusiastic world traveler. Funeral services were private. In lieu of flowers please send contributions to your favorite charity.
