In this age of specialization, the Rams are making a big mistake trying to combine the positions of quarterback and prayer leader (Tribune, Jan. 31). How likely is it that one team can find a single individual who can throw accurately on the run and also pray like the Archbishop of Canterbury?
That’s why teams need to specialize. They need a single designated prayer leader who can concentrate full time on praying for victory and who doesn’t have to waste time in team meetings or running wind sprints.
