Janice B. Rackow, nee Brett, 92, of North Barrington, passed away December 31, 2001, beloved wife of the late John L. Rackow; devoted mother of Janice (Eric) Mell, Judith (Neil) Anderson and John “Jack” L. (the late Lois) Jr.; cherished grandmother of Barbara Weaver, Neil (Patty) Anderson, Eric (Holly) Mell, Aimee Mell, Bonni Mell, Patricia (Tony) Karwowski, John L. III (Diana) and Janice (Mark) Faulkner; dear great-grandmother of 10; loving daughter of the late Frank and Hanna; fond sister of Ann Lorenz, Priscilla King, Helen Zeinen, Jean (Russell) Homan, the late Frank and Thomas, and Elenor Olson.
