Don Wycliff is to be commended, not only for his insight regarding the Middle East, but also for his veracity and courage in articulating it. With President Bush’s sky-high popularity ratings, this is not a good time for anyone to suggest that Bush is misguided in his foreign policy. But Wycliff is right. Everybody who is remotely interested knows what the peace deal between the Israelis and the Palestinians will look like, Wycliff states it.
Attaching no strings to our massive support for the occupying power makes the U.S an accomplice in the occupation.
And we wonder why they hate us.
