Many thanks to Don Wycliff `s “Forcing peace upon the Mideast” for expressing so succinctly the reasons for the frustration felt by those of us who watch the Bush administration’s swaggering romp across the planet after terrorists while supporting Ariel Sharon, not even calling him a terrorist, but supporting him as he bears down on the marginalized, squeezed, battered and bulldozed Palestinians even more.

Bush could assure his place in history if he were to seize this opportunity to lead the world to peace by starting with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict instead of allowing Sharon to continue his campaign to obliterate the Palestinians with the aid of U.S. arms and more money than we give to any other country in the world.
