Don Wycliff’s column is misdirected as he seeks to blame Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and President Bush for the conflict in Israel.
Wycliff labels Sharon an “author” of the Sabra and Shatila massacres. This is an irresponsible accusation. Why does Wycliff spare Yasser Arafat by not drudging up his past dealings with murders?
Wycliff acts as an apologist for Arafat by explaning why it is acceptable to acquire offensive weapons designed to kill civilians and incite terror. These actions will never allow peace to exist in the Mideast.
To make Jerusalem a city under international control is a terrible idea. This idea was already tried in 1947 and the Arab world responded by attempting to wipe Israel off the map.
