Matt J. Vilutis, WWII Army Vet., age 79, died at home Feb. 2 with family at his side, after a courageous battle with leukemia. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Philomene, nee Adomaitis; four children, James (JoAnn) of Frankfort, Anne (Bill) Fleming of Fresno, CA, John (Norma) of Frankfort and Marilyn (Theodore) Bellos of Crest Hill; beloved grandfather of Gint, Art, Matt and Luke Vilutis, Steven and Jonathan Fleming, Mary, Emily and Anthony Bellos; dear brother of Leonard (Margarete) and Frances (Maurice) Perou; special brother-in-law of Vincenta Matul; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise Vilutis. Co-owner of Vilutis and Co. of Frankfort. Member of Knights of Columbus Council #9770, Knights of Lithuania Council #112 and New Lenox American Legion Post #1977. Funeral Thursday 8:30 a.m. from The Brady-Gill Funeral Home, 16600 S.
