Max Barth, 91, beloved husband for 63 years of Esther, nee Doppelt; loving father of Roberta (the late Donald) Silvers and her significant other, Arnie Henry, Donna (Lew) Medintz and Sandy Barth; proud and loving grandpa of Cindy (Nate) Fineberg, Dr. Robert (Loren) Silvers, Steve (Rachel) Silvers, Scott (Emily) Medintz and Todd Medintz; and great-grandfather of eight. Mr. Barth was a graduate of the University of Chicago and the University of Chicago Law School and was a Phi Beta Kappa. Max was an accomplished painter. He was a founding owner of Barth-Wind Furs and a golfer extraordinaire who once hit a lifetime hole in one. Private family services will be held.
