T. Gordon Conaghan, 88, born March 29, 1913, of St. Charles, IL, formerly of Springfield, from 1959 to 2001, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2002 at Sherman Hospital in Elgin; survived by his wife Helen A. Conaghan, nee Wehrheim, of St. Charles; daughters, Kathleen (Jerry) Burch, of Springfield and Pamela (Fredric) Carlson, of Batavia; sons, Thomas M. (Julia) Conaghan, of Palatine, and William L. (Eileen) Conaghan, of Chicago; six grandchildren; and several cousins; preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Alice Gordon Conaghan. Concelebrated Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002 at Christ the King Church. Graveside Service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rantoul.
