Husband of Marilyn Young Ross; son of the late William and Elsa; brother of William (Leona) and Laura Ross and Gladys Davis; father of Leonard (Deborah) Ross and Marcia (Reginald) McCallum; stepfather of Diane (Michael) Conklin; grandfather of Heather and Meghan McCallum, Brian and Kevin Ross, and the late Douglas McCallum; stepgrandfather of Andrew and Sydney Conklin; great-grandfather of James Douglas McCallum; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Graduated from Niles Twp. H.S.; served in the U.S. Army during WWII; manager and part owner of Maierhofer Bus Co. for 40 years; retired in 1987 to Cass Lake, MN and Treasure Island, FL. Visitation Thursday 3 to 9 p.m. at Haben Funeral Home, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie. Lying-in-state Friday, 10:30 a.m. until time of Service, 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 7870 Niles Center Rd., Skokie. Interment St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Skokie.
