Village trustees have approved a contract with Kentucky-based Nationwide Tower Inc., to build a freestanding communications tower to serve the village’s emergency management functions.
The Kentucky company earned the deal with a $24,150 bid, more than $8,000 lower than any other bidder, officials said.
The 50-foot-tall tower will be built in the Police Department parking lot.
