Rita M. Murphy, 82, wife of the late George D. Murphy; died Sunday, Feb. 3 at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her six children, Juliann (Kevin) Gallagher of Atlanta, Barry, Tim and Dan (Debra) Murphy, Mary Fran (Shawn) Lenane and Jane Murphy; five grandchildren, Francie, Ryan and Jack Gallagher and Brandon and Joel Murphy; and two greatgrandchildren, Orion and Haley Murphy. Memorial Service Saturday, Feb. 16, 10 a.m. at the Chapel of Villa Scalabrini. In gratitude for the loving care given to their mother for the past four years by the entire Villa Scalabrini staff, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to The Missionary Sisters of St. Charles, Villa Scalabrini, 480 N.
