John J. Mlynski, 85, formerly of Indian Head Park, IL died at his home in Rancho Bernardo, CA on February 5th, 2002. A University of Notre Dame graduate John began as a salesman for Clark Equipment Co. He met his wife Angela in New Carlisle, IN. They were married in 1943 in the log cabin chapel on the grounds of his alma mater. His vibrant outgoing personality, positive attitude and persistent work ethic enabled him to achieve success in the corporate world. In 1980 John retired as Executive Vice President of Clark Equipment Co. and President of Clark Equipment Central Parts Division. He and his wife then moved to Rancho Bernardo, CA to enjoy the beautiful climate. Surviving are his best friend and wife of 59 years Angela, nee Loskoski; children David of Naperville, Mary Harris of River Forest, John of Westport, CT and Mike of Hillsboro, OR. He was preceded in death by one son James. He leaves nine grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be sent to Elizabeth Hospice, 150 W. Crest St., Escondido, CA 92025. A Memorial Service is planned for a later date in Chicago.
