Allen F. Hamilton, age 79, WWII Army Veteran, of Brookfield, went to be with his Lord on Feb. 11, 2002, beloved husband of Adele Hamilton, nee Carlson; cherished father of Cheryl (Roger) Albert, Jeannette (Richard) Slamp, Donna Hamilton, adopted daughter Rose (Harold) Scott and the late Ronald Hamilton; devoted grandfather of Jenny, Amy, Colleen, Mandy, Marcie, Gina, Ryan, Ricky, Lindsey, T.J. and the late Michael; great-grandfather of four; brother of Tom (Kay) Hamilton, Wayne (Wilma) Hamilton, Patricia (Doug) Watterson, Sandra Hamilton and the late Dale (Maxine) Hamilton; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, 10 a.m. at Oak Brook Community Church, 3100 Midwest Rd., Oak Brook, IL 60523. Interment was private at Ridgewood Cemetery.
