David Adam, 77 years old, died Friday, February 15, 2002 at the Metro West Medical Center in Framingham, MA after a long illness, he was the husband of Betty Botsch of Framingham MA; he was the son of Charles and Agnes, nee Ritchie, Adam. David was a resident of Framingham for over 20 years and a former longtime resident of Chicago, IL. David was a former head of Audio-Visual Communications at the Sears National Headquarters in Chicago for over 25 years. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy and was also a former longtime ELK. In addition, he was an accomplished songwriter and published childrens books. David is survived by two sons, Bruce O. (Donna K.) Adam of Des Plaines, IL, David C. (Gillian) Adam of Framingham; one daughter, Michele A. (Marlin) Forbes of Fairfax Station, VA; five grandchildren, Trey Forbes, Cameron Forbes and Ashley Forbes, Eliot Adam and Rene Adam. Funeral services and burial are private. McCarthy and Sons Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham, MA.
