Steve Rosenbloom’s Sunday commentary regarding a contraction of six NHL teams (Tribune, Feb. 10) is right on. I have been thinking the same thing for a long time. Only a few teams have the excitement to keep my interest.
Four of the six Rosenbloom picked were on my list too. I would not have picked Ottawa because they have been a contender for a few years now and continue to acquire good players. Carolina? Who cares? I would have dumped Columbus and Calgary.
