Michael Paul Gregor, age 41, formerly of Elmhurst, unexpectedly on Feb. 2, 2002 in Indianapolis, beloved son of Elizabeth M., nee Bubala, Gregor and the late Dr. Wesley H. Gregor; loving brother of Gayle (Stephen) Smith and Martin (Megan) Gregor; devoted uncle of Caitlin and Gregory Smith, Conrad, Henry and Gretchen Gregor. Mike graduated from York High School in 1978 where he ran cross-country and upon graduation worked for Control Data Corporation. He was an avid sports fan, a gifted athlete and enjoyed snow and water skiing. He most recently worked in construction and carpentry in the Indianapolis area, where he leaves many devoted friends and acquaintances. He gave the gift of his hands to his friends with his creative carpentry, helping them out of the goodness of his heart, with their home projects. A humble and generous man, Michael would, according to his friends, give you the shirt off of his back and the last dime out of his pocket, stating “All God’s children must eat”. He was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and in celebration of his life, the family requests that donations in his name be forwarded to the church c/o Fr. Patrick Doyle, St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4217 Central Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46205
