JoAnn Pluta, of Naples FL and Chicago, IL, died on February 15, 2002 after a courageous effort to recover from a number of illnesses, she was the beloved wife of Richard Pluta; devoted mother of Carolyn (Kurt), Jolene (Eric), Marilyn (Mark), John (Consuelo) and Rich (Deborah); she was a loving, creative and inspirational grandmother of 25: Jenny, Krissy, John, Gregory, Leyland, Lauren, Justin, Meghan, Pierce, Jillian, Kelsey, Aaron, Ryan, Layne, Richard, John Paul, Maria, Javier, Danny, Grace, Jacqueline, Matthew, Adrienne, Caroline and Cameron. She was first and foremost a wife and mother. Throughout her life, her greatest desires were for her children’s happiness and fulfillment. They will continue to carry on her beautiful spirit through joy and service. She had many wonderful friends, so many will remember her as the face of love. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 18, 2002 at 2 p.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 475 9th Ave., S., Naples.
