Rose Salomon, died February 16, 2002, at Dobson Plaza in Evanston. An active member of the Chicago Symphony all of her life, and a volunteer with the Symphony for many years. She is survived by her brother, Sol Himmelman, of Rye, NY; and three nephews, Harold Himmelman, Alan and Richard Shapiro.
