David L. Nadermann, 50, of Chicago, IL, formerly of Farley, Iowa, died Sunday, February 17, 2002 at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, IL. Friends and relatives of David may call from 3 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2002 at the Reiff Funeral Home in Farley, Iowa, where a Wake Service will be held at 5 p.m. Services for David L. Nadermann will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 21, 2002 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa, with Rev. Dennis Cain officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery with full military honors afforded by the Farley American Legion Post #656. David was born March 23, 1951 in Manchester, Iowa, son of Alfred A. and Vivian, nee Burns, Nadermann. He is a graduate of the former St. Joseph High School in Farley, Iowa. He also is a graduate of Columbia College in Columbia, MO with a B.A. degree. David is a veteran, he retired from the U.S. Army in 1989. He was employed as a Cook and Manager of a restaurant in Chicago. He is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #02978 of Chicago, and a member of the American Legion Post # 0473 of Chicago. He is survived by four children, Michelle Nadermann of Cambridge, Massachusetts, David Nadermann of Chicago, Illinois, Nichole Nadermann of Shirley, Massachusetts and Andrew Nadermann of Chicago, Illinois; one brother, Charles (Nola) Nadermann of Farley, Iowa; and one sister, Jane (Larry) Losey of Lehigh Acres, Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents. A David L. Nadermann memorial fund has been established.
