In the Feb. 9 editorial “Yes, something changed,” the Chicago Tribune seems surprised and somewhat disappointed that the spasm of post-Sept. 11 national unity has officially passed.
I’m not surprised that in the land of the lawyers and special-interest groups, that patriotism is once again taking a back seat to greed.
