Joanne E. Pinski, 69, of Arlington Heights died Sunday, Feb. 17, in Rush North Shore Hospice in Skokie. Born and raised in St. Paul, Mrs. Pinski worked as an accountant after high school. She married in 1956, and in 1970 she and her husband moved to Arlington Heights. Mrs. Pinski enjoyed gardening, reading and tending to the bird feeders. “She loved St. Francis, the saint of animals,” said her daughter Mary. Other survivors include her husband, Robert; three other daughters, Patricia, Theresa and Amy; a son, Robert; sisters Patricia Nelson and Bernadette Anderson; and a grandson. A visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Edna Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.
