John M. Walsh, 79, of Chicago, passed away Friday, February 15, 2002, beloved husband of Patricia, nee Gaffney; dear father of Patricia (John) Pindelski, Mary (Jerry) Olszewski and Kathleen (Chris) Deger; loving grandfather of Joseph, Brian, Mary, David, Laura, Andrew, John, Kevin, Kyle and Katie; devoted brother of Bernice Zielinski and William; fond uncle of many and loving son of the late John and Mary. John bravely served in WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. Memorial Mass will be held at Queen of All Saints Basilica Saturday February 23, at 10 a.m. In memory of John, donations to Misericordia, 6300 N. Ridge Ave., Chicago, IL 60660 would be appreciated.
