Daughter of the late Joel and Ina, nee Kiviranta, Mattson; married John J. Biggs on June 12, 1952 in Chicago, IL (he preceded her Feb. 23, 1972); mother of John (Carolyn) Biggs of Alton, IL, Steve (Lesa) Biggs of Branson West, MO, Scott (Mary) Biggs of Benton, IL, Jeff (Tina) Biggs of Bloomington, IL and Christine (Lloyd) Tomer of Alton, IL; grandmother of 14; great-grandmother of six; great-great-grandmother of one. Preceded in death by one granddaughter; and two brothers. Member of New Testament Fellowship, Alton, IL. No visitation. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002 at New Testament Fellowship, Alton, IL, with Pastor Gary Carstens officiating. Memorials may be given to New Testament Fellowship.
