Delroy Vance Tyre, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Mt. Prospect. A Memorial Service for Delroy Tyre, 72, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Community Presbyterian Church, 407 N. Main St., Mt. Prospect, Pastor Gregory Ryske will officiate. Delroy passed away on Feb. 4, 2002 after a brief courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born Sept. 7, 1929 in Dearborn, MI, he is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Shirley; daughter, Linda (Keith) of Eden Prairie, MN; son, Michael (Ann) of Corona del Mar, CA; special granddaughters, Lauren, Michele and Kaitlin; brother, John W. (Bertha) Crispe; nephew, John C. (Sandra) Crispe and their children, Amy, Sara and John Michael; and niece, Wendy (John) Pitts and their son, John Eldon. Delroy will be deeply missed by all that have known and worked with him over the past 55 years.
