Delroy Vance Tyre, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Mt. Prospect. A Memorial Service for Delroy Tyre, 72, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at Community Presbyterian Church, 407 N. Main St., Mt. Prospect, Pastor Gregory Ryske will officiate. Delroy passed away on Feb. 4, 2002 after a brief courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born Sept. 7, 1929 in Dearborn, MI, he is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Shirley; daughter, Linda (Keith) of Eden Prairie, MN; son, Michael (Ann) of Corona del Mar, CA; special granddaughters, Lauren, Michele and Kaitlin; brother, John W. (Bertha) Crispe; nephew, John C. (Sandra) Crispe and their children, Amy, Sara and John Michael; and niece, Wendy (John) Pitts and their son, John Eldon. Delroy will be deeply missed by all that have known and worked with him over the past 55 years. Special thanks to Dr. Michael Glickman and Adult Care Specialists and to the staff at Manor Care, Arlington Heights, for their patience and loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Presbyterian Church-Memorial & Special Gifts. Interment will be private at the Peace Garden, Community Presbyterian Church.
