James T. Kawashima, age 71, of Elk Grove Village, beloved husband of Ilonia D., nee Heflin; loving father of James W. (Helga) Pritchard, Edward W. Pritchard, Venita A. (Paul) Druschba, April L. (Anthony) Tamillo; adoring grandfather of Matthew, Nicole, Taylor; cherished son of Toshiko, nee Watanabe and the late Harry Kawashima; fond brother of Richard (Taka) Kawashima, Katherine (Frank) Martinelli, June (Ray) Meada and Nancy Kawashima. He was a 40 year plant superintendent of Embosograph Corp. of Chicago as well as a Korean War Army Veteran. Visitation Saturday, 2 to 9 p.m. at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S.
