Native of Swinford, County Mayo, Ireland. 40 year Veteran of the Chicago Crossing Guard Association a division of the CPD. Eucharistic Minister for Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Beloved wife of the late Thomas; loving mother of Thomas (Virginia Gay), Dr. Rosemary (Dr. George Beranek) McHugh and Geraldine McHugh; devoted grandmother of Kelly (Michael) Massinople, Katy (Chris) Richards, Molly, Ryan J. and Maggie Moore McHugh; proud great-grandmother of Ryan C. and Eiley Massinople; dear sister of Marie Moore, Aggie Gavin, Una Brennan and the late Nellie Crisham, Kitty and Lizzie Moore; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; dear friend of Margarita Shaterova.
