With “Guiding Light” wrapping up the San Cristobal saga, Jim Davidson’s role of Alonzo is concluding. He began playing the part last year as a spoiler in the romance of Richard and Cassie, but viewers did not want the couple to be separated. Also expected to leave, as the action returns to Springfield, are Thom Christopher and Erin Cottrell (Dax and Camille).
“As the World Turns”‘ Bonnie has her choice of suitors with the return of her former fiance, Ian, a.k.a. the Duke. Peter Giles plays the part. When Isaac and Bonnie head off to Scotland in the future, Michael Swan will again play the role of Bonnie’s dad, Duncan McKechnie.
Annie Parisse is reprising her “ATWT” role as the wacky Julia, who currently has Jack all tied up.
Sally Struthers, best known for her many years on “All in the Family,” is guest-starring on “General Hospital” as Luke’s former fiance, Jennifer Smith.
