The International Olympic Committee has assumed the privilege of correcting the corrupt decisions of its officials by awarding Canadians Jamie Sale and David Pelletier the gold medal.

This gold medal is one they’ll share with their Russian counterparts.

Now that that is done, why not take this opportunity to correct a bad call that’s 30 years overdue?

Next up:

Present gold medals to the members of the 1972 U.S. Men’s basketball team, who were robbed of the gold.

The gold was “won” instead by the USSR team in the most egregious case of biased officiating in Olympic history.
