Elizabeth C. “Betty” Maher, age 77, of Kettering, OH, formerly of Northfield, IL, died Saturday, February 23, 2002. She was a 1946 graduate of Denison University and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Betty was a longtime member of St. Paul Episcopal Church. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip L. Ward, husband Tom E. Maher and parents William and Katherine, nee Browne, Camlin. She is survived by daughter Diane W. Jones, sons Phillip C. Ward, Timothy C. Ward, Andrew W. Ward and Christopher C. Ward; six stepchildren; 25 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters. A Memorial Service will be held in Dayton, OH.
