Henry Postanowicz, age 84, of Chicago, passed away on Feb. 16, 2002 at his daughter’s home in Agoura Hills, with his family. Henry was born on June 29, 1917 in Chicago and was a longtime member and officer of the Polish National Alliance. He had a 35 year career as a cost accountant before he retired from Miehle/ North American Rockwell. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elfreda Postanowicz; daughter, Claudia (Charles) Peter of Agoura Hills, CA; grandchildren, Jennifer and Matthew; and sister, Gabriella Wajnert. A Memorial Service was held in California and the interment was private. Arrangements were made under the direction of Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks, Westlake Village, CA, 818-889-0902 .
