Palka, age 86, beloved husband for 61 years to Irene, nee Domurat; loving father of Larry (Diane); proud grandfather of Jacob; dear brother of the late William (the late Wanda); cherished brother-in-law and uncle. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. Walter was a Medic in the Pacific during WWII. He also was a pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals in the late 30’s, his father John was a catcher for the Boston Red Socks and American League Umpire. Walter was a avid golfer with 2 holes in one.
