Who does the Tribune think it is to advocate that Gov. George Ryan lay off state workers to balance the budget (Editorial, Feb. 17)? Would the same editorial writer advocate that the Tribune lay off some of its employees to balance its own budget? Tell Ryan to go for the pork, not for the throat.
