Lorette B. Cassidy, age 96, of Burlington, WI since 1969, formerly of Chicago, IL. She was born Nov. 30, 1905, in Chicago, IL, to Hermidas “Gus” and Lydia (Pelletier) LaLond; died Feb. 24, 2002, at Mt. Carmel Medical & Rehab. Center. Beloved wife of Joseph J. Cassidy who preceded her in death, Sept. 28, 1978. Survived by son, Joseph E. Cassidy, Burlington, WI; son-in-law, Jack Bowling, Elm Grove, WI; five grandchildren, Carol (Jay) Fayer, Crystal Lake, IL, Joellen (Robert) Kerger, Bartlett, IL, Ruth Mary Cassidy, Palatine, IL, Mary Lynn (Robert) Clark, Shakopee, MN, John P. (Deonne) Bowling, Brookfield, WI; seven great-grandchildren; niece, Marianne Des Forges, Chicago, IL. Also preceded in death by parents; daughter Mary “Pat” Bowling; and sister Norma Des Forges. She was educated at St. Louis Academy, Chicago. Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Burlington. She worked as a receptionist for a doctor’s office. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002, 4 to 8 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, with prayer vigil at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, Feb. 28, 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Burlington.
