Rose J. Janco, nee Guercio, age 84, died February 24 at Rosewood Nursing Home, Inverness, beloved wife of the late John Janco Sr.; loving mother of John, Jr. (Joyce); adored grandmother of Emily, Jamie and Sarah; dear sister of Norma (late Charles) Schultz, Josie (Chet) Smiles, Joe (Grace), Ann, Warren Burmester, John, Andy (late Joan), Lucille Tyrpin, Marge (Gus) Sirotzki, Carol Lindenmuth; loving aunt of 41, great-aunt of 42 and great-greataunt of four. Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Dorothy, nee Cascio, and brothers and sisters Grace (late Zimmerman and Berger), Sam (Ruth), Dorothy Czajka and John I. Rose gifted her body for medical research. Memorial Mass Thursday, February 28, 10 a.m. at St. Theresa Parish, 467 N. Benton, Palatine.
