This is regarding “Uptown’s bid to recapture glory in peril” (Page 1, Feb. 19). How is no mention made of the Green Mill, the Riviera Theatre, the Aragon Ballroom? The masses have never had a problem finding their way to the neighborhood when mainstream rock acts play there.
You cannot call its location remote. Easily accessible by public transportation, surrounded by popular venues, redevelopment of the Uptown made sense years ago, it makes sense now and it will never stop making sense, regardless of how many tangles and tie-ups keep it from long overdue rebirth.
