I read of politicians complaining that the spending limits in the campaign finance reform bill are a violation of 1st Amendment free speech. If I have a megaphone in your face and you have only your voice, you do not have free speech. If you have thousands of dollars to give your candidate and I have trouble scraping up $50, I do not have free speech, and there is no equality under the law.
