John M. Hennessey, age 77, of Palos Heights, IL, passed away Feb. 24, 2002, loving father of Cindy (Egon) Menker; loving grandfather of Egon and Erhard Menker; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Betty Hennessey; and brother, Dick Hennessey. Funeral Saturday, March 2, 2002, at 11 a.m. from the Schroeder-Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Rd., Lansing. Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Visitation Friday 2 to 9 p.m. Mr. Hennessey was a member of Local I.A.T.S.E. No. 125. He owned and operated the Kennedy Theatre of Hammond, IN.
